A heat exchanger for a ventilator recovering waste heat is provided to simplify assembling work for coupling a filter to the heat exchanger and reduce the number of required parts. A rectangular body part(100) has a plurality of partitions stacked with each other with paths(101,102) formed in the facing direction, wherein the paths in pair intersect each other by a layer. A pair of plate-shaped base frames(110) are positioned at top and bottom sides of the body part in parallel to the partitions. Side frames(120) are coupled between the base frames in the longitudinal direction at each corner of the side surface parts of the body part. A Velcro element(200) is attached to any one of the side surface parts of the body part. A filter element(300) is attached to the Velcro element for filtering air passing through the body part.
