PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner inexpensively formed with a holder means of an exhaust filter. SOLUTION: A fixing method of the exhaust filter 6 is so formed that one end 9 of the exhaust filter 6 is slid under a body part 3, and clamped to a cleaner body 1 by an exhaust cover 7 fitted and fixed to the body part 3. The exhaust filter 6 is clamped by not only the exhaust cover 7 but also the body part 3, and the body part 3 also distributingly receives an exhaust pressure from the exhaust filter 6 to reduce the exhaust pressure applied to the exhaust cover 7.
