The invention relates to an organic light-emitting device comprising: a substrate, especially a transparent substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode on one and the same face of the substrate, at least the first electrode being semitransparent or transparent; and an electroluminescent layer sandwiched between the first and second electrodes, characterized in that the first electrode comprises a diffusing electroconductive layer having a haze of 2% or higher. The invention also relates to the use of a diffusing electroconductive layer having a haze of 2% or higher as electrode closest to the substrate of an organic light-emitting device.
