Disclosed are a method for processing a voice mail service based on an intelligent network, and an intelligent network device. The method for processing a voice mail service based on an intelligent network comprises: when a calling terminal leaves a message via a voice mail service system, an intelligent network device sending a first data message to an on-line charging system, so as to enable the on-line charging system to perform charging in accordance with the first data message; and when the calling terminal hangs up, the intelligent network device sending a second data message to the on-line charging system according to a call ending message sent by a calling core network element, so as to enable the on-line charging system to perform settlement. The present invention can combine a special rate deduction demand for an originating call of a voice mail service and an intelligent network charging mode based on an on-line charging system. |
