The present invention improves the shift feel of the shifting device of a manual transmission that changes gears by manual operation. A shifting device (100) comprises: a shaft (1) provided in a housing (201); a shift selection member (2) that is pivotally supported on the shaft (1) so as to be capable of moving along the axial direction of the shaft (1) and rotating with the shaft center SC of the shaft (1) as the center of rotation, and on which an inner lever (2c) for selectively engaging with one of multiple shift heads (211b-214b) is formed; a rotating member (3) that is pivotally supported on the shaft (1) so as to be capable of rotating with the shaft center (SC) as the center of rotation and that rotates as a unit with the shift selection member (2); and a selection return mechanism (50) for returning the shift selection member (2), which rotates as a unit with the rotating member (3), to a neutral position in the range of rotation of the shift selection member by applying a return force on the rotating member (3) to return same to the neutral position in the range of rotation of the rotating member. |
