PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to move a polishing tape in an axial direction of a nut by a tape movement mechanism, to synchronize a rotational speed of the nut and a movement speed of the polishing tape with each other corresponding to a reed of a ball groove by speed synchronization means, and to polish the ball groove with the polishing tape by an operation combined with movement of the synchronized polishing tape.SOLUTION: A device for polishing a nut for a ball screw comprises: a tape folding polishing mechanism 4 which has a line guide part 4a capable of guiding transfer of returning and folding of a polishing tape T, a folding guide part 4b and a returning guide part 4c, and which guides a transfer of folding of the polishing tape in the returning guide part by a pressure-welding roll R, and has a groove polishing part Tof the polishing tape for polishing a ball groove B of a nut; a tape pressure-contact mechanism 5 which brings the groove polishing part of the polishing tape into pressure-contact with the ball groove of the nut with an outer peripheral surface Rof the pressure-welding roll; a tape moving mechanism 6 which moves the polishing tape in axial Wdirection of the nut; and speed synchronization means 7 for synchronizing a rotational speed Q of the nut and a movement speed F of the polishing tape with each other corresponding to a reed L of the ball groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
