PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire with terminal which is capable of suppressing corrosion in an electric contact part between a wire conductor and a terminal fitting, facilitates application of an anticorrosion agent and is capable of surely applying the anticorrosive agent only to a required portion, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: When manufacturing a coated wire with terminal comprising an anticorrosive agent application part which applies the anticorrosive agent to a connection part connecting a terminal to an end of a coated wire of which the conductor is coated with an insulator, the application of the anticorrosive agent is performed by bringing the anticorrosive agent into contact with the connection part from a lower side of the connection part and permeating the anticorrosive agent into the connection part. The anticorrosive agent satisfies a formula (1) η/(γ cosθ)≤600 where η is viscosity (mPa s), γ is a surface tension (mN/m) and θ is a contact angle (°).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
