PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine capable of restricting an excessive ice-making capacity by performing a fine adjustment for it.SOLUTION: An appropriate maximum ice-making capacity of an ice-making mechanism 24 is determined in advance as a prescribed threshold in consideration of conditions such as a prevention of abnormal wear of components, a prevention of occurrence of irregular sound and assurance of a requisite ice-making capacity under a value equal to or less than a fatigue strength that is an upper limit thrust load of each component. The prescribed threshold is recorded in a micro computer of fan motor control means 32. When the fan motor control means 32 determines that the ice-making capacity calculated in reference to a time interval where a feed water valve 41 is opened or closed exceeds the maximum ice-making capacity during ice-making operation of an auger type ice-making machine 1, the fan motor control means 32 performs control for stopping a fan motor 31a. Due to stopping of the fan motor 31a, air blowing from a fan 30a to a condenser 22 is stopped. With this arrangement as above, since a temperature of the condenser 22 is increased to cause a cooling effect of high temperature or high pressure gaseous refrigerant to be decreased, the ice-making capacity at the ice-making mechanism 24 is decreased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
