The access opening of a package is inserted into an opening of a plastic planar closure (15) consisting of slots (20) which is delimited by limb portion (215). The slots are partially deformed by the seals which connect limb portions together, without deforming the closure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) strip of interlinked planar closure; (2) device for closing access side of packaging; (3) flexible package; and (4) planar closure.
