PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized actuator suitable for a sector driver or the like. SOLUTION: An actuator 1 is provided with a U-shaped stator 2, coil frames 3-1 and 3-2 mounted on left and right arm parts 2a-1 and 2a-2 of the stator 2, coils 4-1 and 4-2 wound around the coil frames 3-1 and 3-2, and a rotor 5 disposed in opposition to the stator 2. The coil frames 3-1 and 3-2 include coil winding parts 33 having the coils 4-1 and 4-2 wound therearound and collar parts 31 provided approximately rectangularly to the coil winding parts, and cuts 35 which are not brought into contact with the coils are formed in the coil winding parts. The actuator can be miniaturized by giving a small diameter to the coil parts because the coil winding parts include cuts which are not brought into contact with the coils.
