PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of improving durability and reliability of an inner ring by preventing a crack of the inner ring from a dent of the inner ring in a crimping process. SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel includes the inner ring 3 pressed in a small diameter step part 2b of a hub ring 2, and the inner ring 3 is fixed in a shaft direction by a crimp part 2c formed by elastically deforming an end part of the small diameter step part 2b to an outer side of a diameter direction. An outer diameter chamfered part 11 which joins an outer diameter part 3b and a crimp side end surface 3c of the inner ring 3, is formed by a cut surface processed after heat treatment. The outer diameter chamfered part 11 is provided with a circular part, and a curvature radius of the circular part is set in a range of R1.5-R5.0. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
