<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference to an existing user caused by a signal to a terminal device before synchronization establishment. <P>SOLUTION: The base station apparatus performs multiplexed communications for a plurality of terminal devices within an identical time zone. The base station apparatus comprises a validation portion 40, a generator 50, and a transmitter. The validation portion 40 checks presence or absence of an existing terminal device performing communications with the base station apparatus, using opportunity when there is a communication start request from a terminal device which should perform communications with the base station apparatus as a trigger. The generator 50 generates a signal for establishing synchronization between the terminal device sending the communication start request and the base station apparatus. The transmitter transmits the signal generated by the generator 50 to the terminal device if presence of any existing terminal device is not checked by the validation portion, and shortens and transmits the signal generated by the generator 50 to the terminal device if presence of any existing terminal device is checked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
