<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trueing roll, simply manufactured, having a long life and having stable truing performance, and a manufacturing method for it. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of columnar pieces 16 of a diamond sintered body, which is formed by integrally sintering a diamond particle layer 16a on a carbide base 16b, are fixed to the outer edge part of a roll base 11 so that the diamond particle layer 16a faces backward in the rotating direction of the roll base 11, and the end face of the columnar piece 16 is exposed to a truing surface 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
