<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hearing devices each capable of radio communication with low energy consumption and an improved data transmission rate. <P>SOLUTION: The system has at least two hearing devices HG-R, HG-L separated spatially from each other and designed for wireless communication with each other. Each hearing device is provided with a transceiver, which includes an inductive receiver and a digital broadband pulse transmitter. A base station BG is provided which is structurally separated from the hearing devices and capable of transmitting a message from one of the hearing devices to the other.
