PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of the kinds of commands transmitted from a game control means to a performance control means. SOLUTION: At the start of variation, a microcomputer for game control transmits a background specifying command, a pattern variation specifying command, a variation pattern command, a performance pattern specifying command and a total holding storage number specifying command. To put it concretely, when the background specifying command is transmitted by game control processing based on timer interruption, the pattern variation specifying command and the variation pattern command are transmitted by the next game control processing based on the timer interruption.
