PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor which can increase the output by using a plurality of tubular linear motors and can be constituted compactly. SOLUTION: The linear motor 1 comprises a plurality of tubular linear motors 2 each having a shaft member 3 consisting of a permanent magnet, and a coil unit 4 in which the shaft member 3 can move relatively and freely. The plurality of tubular linear motors 2 are arranged contiguously in parallel with each other.
