PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting more data while maintaining sufficiently high accuracy in a gas turbine performance diagnosis. SOLUTION: This gas turbine performance diagnostic system carries out characteristic modelling of a performance index as a function including an intake air temperature in input based on operation data of the gas turbine, and converts the performance index of the gas turbine into a value in the predetermined intake air temperature based on an obtained characteristic model, wherein a statistical distance between operation data of each time of a time series and a plurality of operation data of a reference period is computed, and data with the computed statistical distance being within a predetermined upper and lower range is input to a characteristic modeling means.
