PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharged diesel engine capable of smoothly accelerating. SOLUTION: The supercharged diesel engine is provided with a boost compensator 16, swings a boost lever 39 by imbalance force of supercharging boost pressure 24 and boost spring 44, and restricts fuel quantity increase of a fuel metering rack 8 by the boost lever 39. An interlocking body 37 is fixed on the fuel adjusting rack 8, the interlocking body 37 is slidably connected to a governor lever 2, the interlocking body 37 is energized in a fuel increase direction of the fuel adjusting rack 8 by a start spring 26, and the energized interlocking body 37 is received by the governor lever 2. In a low speed zone, fuel restriction of the fuel adjusting rack 8 by the boost lever 39 is performed at a position where the governor lever 2 does not interfere by receiving the interlocking body 37 by the boost lever 39 before the governor lever 2.
