This flexible tube comprises a spiral tube comprising a tightly wound region and a sparsely wound region, and an outer layer that covers the outside of the spiral tube. The tightly wound region comprises: tightly wound sections in which a pressing force is applied such that linear members adjacent in the longitudinal direction are in close contact; sparsely wound sections which are disposed on the base end side of the tightly wound sections; and a pressing force change section which is disposed on the base end side of the sparsely wound section, and presses the linear members against each other along the longitudinal axis, while reducing the pressing force of the linear members nearer the base send side than the leading end side to a greater extent than the pressing force of the tightly wound sections, along the longitudinal axis.
