PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition applied to the mucous membrane, improving wetting on the corneal surface or a contact lens.SOLUTION: A composition applied to the mucous membrane characterized by containing sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and also terpenoid improves wetting on the corneal surface or the surface of a contact lens to sustain wetting and enhance use feeling of the contact lens. In addition, it is excellent in prevention effect of mucous membrane dry symptoms such as dry eye and in prevention or improvement effect of various diseases caused by dryness.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
