PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam material for keeping soil warm to more efficiently cultivate plants in an agricultural house while saving energy in cold regions.SOLUTION: A foam material 1 for keeping soil warm is molded by a foaming synthetic resin, is used in an agricultural house, and comprises a plate-like panel 2 and an extention part 3 which is integrally molded with the plate-like panel 2 and extends from the lower end part of the plate-like panel 2 in the horizontal direction. The foam material 1 for keeping soil warm is placed in an agricultural house in such a state that at least a part of the lower side of the foam material is buried in the ground and the other part of the foam material protrudes from the ground. By using the foam material 1 for keeping soil warm having the constitution described above in an agricultural house, a more efficient cultivation of plants in the agricultural house can be achieved while saving energy in cold regions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
