Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is a data transmission method. The method comprises: when a user equipment (UE) is in a first transmission condition, searching, by the UE, for an auxiliary UE used for device-to-device (D2D) communication; when at least one auxiliary UE is found by the UE, transmitting, by the UE, a D2D communication request to the base station, the D2D communication request being used to request the base station to allocate D2D communication resources and to establish a D2D communication link between the UE and the at least one auxiliary UE; during uplink transmission, transmitting, by the UE, a first data packet to the base station, and transmitting the first data packet to the at least one auxiliary UE via the D2D communication link.
