Disclosed are a method and apparatus for configuring network parameters of a local area network, which relate to the technical field of communications for solving the problem in the prior art that the process of configuring network parameters of a local area network cannot enable network resources to be fully utilized. The method comprises: determining whether a local area gateway has acquired a DNS server address; and in the case where the local area gateway has not yet acquired the DNS server address, allocating a private network IP address for a network device within the local area network, with the lease term of the private network IP address being a first lease term, and the first lease term being less than a pre-set threshold value. |
