PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall detection terminal capable of highly accurately determining a fall of a user during his/her exercise.SOLUTION: A fall detection terminal 1 comprises an acceleration sensor 2, an impact detection part 16, a fall detection part 17, and a fall determination part 18. The impact detection part 16 detects an impact generated in the fall detection terminal 1 from acceleration data. The fall detection part 17 detects fall characteristics, from the acceleration data, appearing when the fall detection terminal 1 freely falls. The fall determination part 18 determines whether a user has fallen or not, on the basis of a detection result of the impact and a detection result of the fall characteristics. The fall determination part further calculates an activity amount of the user from the acceleration data, allows the weighting of an evaluation indicating a fall possibility on the basis of the impact to increase more than that of a fall evaluation indicating a fall possibility on the basis of the fall characteristics to perform comprehensive evaluation if the user is in an exercising state where the activity amount of the user is larger than a standard activity amount in a predetermined period in which the generation time of the impact is used as a reference, and determines whether the user has fallen or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
