PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound synthesizer reducing an arithmetic load of a physical model sound source in a musical sound synthesizing technique for synthesizing musical sound of a music instrument on the basis of a physical model.SOLUTION: A finger hole model connection control section 106, in response to a current pitch designation information 113, connects an unconnected one out of two finger hole model parts 105 to a delay position corresponding to the pitch designation information 113 on delay line processing performed by a delay line section 104; subsequently, along with a time transition after the time of the current pitch designation, applies a characteristic change of gradually opening the finger hole, to the finger hole model part 105 that has been connected at the current pitch designation; applies a characteristic change of gradually closing the finger hole to a finger hole model part 105 connected at a time of the previous pitch designation; and then cancels the connection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
