PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody pellet heater and its combustion method in which the number of times of cleaning inside a furnace can be reduced and combustion state can be maintained if only combustion ashes are processed by increasing a combustion efficiency of woody pellet to eliminate combustion residuals and leaving only the combustion ashes.SOLUTION: A woody pellet heater is constructed in such a way that an induction fan is installed at a main body A of a combustion machine having a primary combustion pit including an ignition burner, a combustion fan 6 and a woody pellet feeding cylinder part and a combustion furnace C cooperatively arranged at the primary combustion pit and having an inclined grate 16. Wind from the combustion fan 6 is supplied to the upper part and the lower part of the grate 16 to perform a secondary combustion, combustion gas on the feeding-out side is dispersed into air by wind from the discharging side of the grate 16 and wind from the induction fan to perform a tertiary combustion [aerial diffuse combustion], perform a complete combustion of woody pellet and make a substantial elimination of combustion residuals.
