PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous water heater which can eliminate repeating of ignition/extinction of the instantaneous water heater such as a gas water heater and as a result, which can reduce usage of a fuel such as a gas and kerosine, and also, which can reduce an influence on durability performance of the instantaneous water heater such as the gas water heater.SOLUTION: An instantaneous water heater includes: a hot water storage tank having heating means and connected to a water supply source, a water heater and a faucet; temperature measurement means for measuring a temperature of hot water in the hot water storage tank; a selector valve capable of switching between a first path from the water supply source to the hot water storage tank and a second path from the water heater to the hot water storage tank; and a control unit for controlling the selector valve. The control unit selects the first path by the selector valve, in the case where a measurement result of the temperature measurement means is higher than a predetermined temperature, and selects the second path by the selector valve, in the case where the measurement result of the temperature measurement means is lower than the predetermined temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
