Exemplary illustrations of a reinforcement for a structure and a method of forming the same are disclosed. An exemplary reinforcement (100, 200, 300) may include at least two separate members (102, 202, 302) that are secured to each other. The reinforcement may further include a bonding material (104, 204, 304) that is disposed on at least one of the members (102, 202, 302) and confined within an outer perimeter (P 1 , P 2 , P 3 ) of the carrier. The bonding material (104, 204, 304) may be configured to secure the carrier (102, 202, 302) to the structure. The two members (102, 202, 302) are secured to each other to permit one of translational and rotational relative movement therebetween such that one of the members (102, 202, 302) engages the bonding material (104, 204, 304), thereby forcing the bonding material (104, 204, 304) beyond the outer perimeter (P 1 , P 2 , P 3 ) of the carrier. |
