PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable transfer of an article even in transferring an article such as an IC chip at high speed, and enable transfer while changing an interval between articles.SOLUTION: An article transfer device 10 comprises: a first conveying machine 30 for sending an article 6 to a receiving position B1 at a constant conveying velocity V1; a rotation drive machine 80; odd-numbered pickup parts 72 which are rotated by the rotation drive machine 80, pick up the article 6 at the receiving position B1, and transfer the article 6 from the receiving position B1 to a delivery position B2; a second conveying machine 50 for conveying the article 6 transferred by the pickup parts 72 at a conveying velocity V2; and a velocity control part 92 for controlling a peripheral velocity of the pickup parts 72. The peripheral velocity of the pickup parts 72 is controlled to be the velocity V1 in synchronization with timing when the pickup parts 72 pass through the receiving position B1. The peripheral velocity of the pickup parts 72 is controlled to be the velocity V2 in synchronization with timing when the pickup parts 72 pass through the delivery position B2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
