PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic impact treatment method for improving the fatigue characteristics in a case of a large load that repeatedly acts on a weld toe.SOLUTION: In a steel structure having a welding part, annealing is performed before an ultrasonic impact treatment is applied to a weld toe to remarkably improve the fatigue strength of the weld toe even when the load that repeatedly acts on the weld toe is large. |
