A clamping screw for use in such a connection system and a method for connecting two components are also described. The clamping screw includes an axial borehole with an internal thread to receive a securing pin, an external thread for connection to the nut and a counter bearing for locking the nut. The clamping screw is designed such that is elastically deformable in the radially inward direction in the area of the counter bearing, and in this area has a greater radial extension than in the remaining area of the clamping screw.
