PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system, and a showcase cooling device capable of carrying out reduction of electric power consumption on the basis of a highly reliable pressure set value. SOLUTION: In the showcase cooling device cooling an internal atmosphere of a showcase 20 by circulating a refrigerant between a refrigerating machine 10 and the showcase 20, a main controller 30 is provided for carrying out adiabatic expansion of the refrigerant sent out from the refrigerating machine 10, calculating the pressure set value of the refrigerant sucked into the refrigerating machine 11 on the basis of a valve opening of an electronic expansion valve 21 for adjusting a flow rate of the refrigerant, and controlling driving of the refrigerating machine 11 on the basis of the pressure set value. A plurality of the showcases 20 is provided, and each is arranged in a communicated state with the refrigerating machine 10 in parallel with each other. It is preferable that a solenoid valve 27 is provided for controlling a flow rate of the refrigerant sent to the electronic expansion valve 21 on the basis of a temperature in a predetermined place of an interior of the showcase 20.
