<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a television conference system for relaying communication activities in conference or a plurality of places in which speeches can be recognized and understood easily when a plurality of participants speak simultaneously or the speeches overlap. <P>SOLUTION: When a plurality of participants speak simultaneously or the speeches overlap, respective speeches are presented with a time lag. Furthermore, the speeches are categorized and presented for each content.
