PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of executing imaging suitable for an object to be imaged having different resolutions required for imaging in the vertical and the horizontal directions with few number of imagings. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with cylindrical lenses 6a, 6b arranged so as to oppose an imaging region 1; first mirrors 2a, 2b for reflecting lights transmitted through the cylindrical lenses 6a, 6b; second mirrors 3a, 3b for reflecting lights reflected on the first mirrors 2a, 2b; and a camera 5 having an imaging element region 4. The first mirrors 2a, 2b are arranged so as to be aligned in the extending direction of the cylindrical lenses 6a, 6b, and arranged so as to have angles different from each other for the imaging region 1.
