A liquid crystal display and an assembling method of the same are provided to form a mold frame and a fixing chassis integrally and remove minute cracks between the mold frame and the fixing chassis, thereby preventing a liquid crystal panel from being damaged due to transformation of the mold frame by external physical impact. A liquid crystal display comprises the following parts: a mold frame(40) which is integrally installed with a fixing chassis; a backlight assembly which is formed on an upper part of the mode frame; and a liquid crystal panel(10) which is mounted on the mode frame. The mode frame is compressed by a press and attaches an unhardened plastic to the fixing chassis. The fixing chassis includes at least one fixing hook for preventing the mold frame from being separated from the fixing chassis. |
