GANTRY CRANE FOR CONTAINER, PALLET FOR CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION, CONTAINER CONVEYING VEHICLE AND CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container transportation method, a gantry crane for a container, a pallet for container transportation and a container conveying vehicle improving transportation efficiency during loading/unloading of the container. SOLUTION: In the container transportation method, the containers 3 are successively transferred to the pallet 6 for container transportation at a quaywall yard 1', and conveying of the pallet 6 to a container storage yard 4 and conveying of the empty pallet 6 from the container storage yard 4 to the quaywall yard 1' are performed by a container conveying vehicle 7 reciprocated between the quaywall yard 1' and the container storage yard 4. In the gantry crane for the container provided with a plurality of trolleys 12 traveling on a girder 11, a spreader 14 for grasping the container 3 is hung down relative to the respective trolleys 12. In the pallet for container transportation, a vacancy 21' for receiving a base is formed below a frame body.
