PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an unbalance of a load from being generated between storage boxes, in a large-scaled storage system constituted of the plurality of storage boxes. SOLUTION: A network route for an access of a moved logic volume is switched by changing information as to an access object such as a network communication protocol held in a host communicated with the storage box, when moving the logic volume stored in the certain storage box to the logic volume of the storage box. A method using an ICPM Redirect Error massage, and a method using an ARP protocol, are provided as a means for notifying the moving from the storage box to the host. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
