A method for performing a device to device (D2D) communication is performed by a first wireless device and includes receiving, by the first wireless device through a primary carrier, an allocation of a secondary carrier from a base station. Here, the primary carrier is used for data transmission and reception with the base station and the secondary carrier allocated by the base station is used for data transmission and reception with a second wireless device. The method further includes transmitting data to the second wireless device on a subframe of the secondary carrier.

1. A method for performing a device to device (D2D) communication, the method performed by a first wireless device and comprising:
receiving, by the first wireless device through a primary carrier, a resource allocation on a secondary carrier from a base station, wherein the primary carrier is used for data transmission and reception with the base station; and transmitting data to a second wireless device on a subframe of the secondary carrier based on the resource allocation, wherein the secondary carrier allocated by the base station is used for data transmission and reception with the second wireless device, and wherein a last symbol on the subframe is not used for the transmission to the second wireless device, but is used for a gap symbol.
