PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular brake device capable of stopping a vehicle when the vehicular brake device is operated by a driver so as to smoothly stop the vehicle. SOLUTION: When the traveling speed of a vehicle detected by a speed detection unit 13 is below a pressure reduction starting speed after a brake pedal is stepped on, an operation brake pressure calculation unit 12 calculates operation brake pressure by using a stroke quantity of the brake pedal detected by the operation quantity detection unit 11 and a hydraulic pressure value of a master cylinder, and a reduced brake pressure calculation unit 14 calculates reduced brake pressure by using deceleration obtained from the traveling speed detected by the speed detection unit 13 and target reduced brake pressure. A brake pressure selection unit 15 compares the operation brake pressure with the reduced brake pressure, and selects smaller brake pressure.
