PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood hinge bracket which can exactly keep a positional relation between a front hood and a car body, and can efficiently transfer a load from the front of the car body to a front pillar panel, and further to provide its mounting structure. SOLUTION: Hood hinge brackets 7 are composed of a pair of right and left members for mounting a pair of right and left hood hinges 3 on the car body so as to support the front hood to be opened and closed, and are connected to two or more car body panels (a cowl side panel 11 and a front pillar panel 12) for transferring the load from the front of the car body to the front pillar panel 12. Mounting surfaces A, B, C, D of the hood hinge brackets 7 to be mounted to the car body panels (the cowl side panel 11 and the front pillar panel 12) are composed of a plurality of planes parallel with each other. Further, the mounting surfaces A, B, C, D of the hood hinge brackets 7 are joined to the car body panels (the cowl side panel 11 and the front pillar panel 12) from outside the car body.
