PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor board structure for an automobile capable of preventing fall of an article from rear split bodies by constituting the rear split bodies of a floor board in the style of a shelf. SOLUTION: In the floor board structure for the automobile, a floor board 17 of a luggage room 16 of the automobile is split into at least two split bodies 24, 25 in the longitudinal direction of the automobile, the split bodies 24, 25 are hinge-connected to each other, and the rear split body 25 is horizontally arranged in a shelf shape while raising the front split body 24.
