PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device capable of reducing the cost of coolant circuit. SOLUTION: The article storage device includes: a coolant circuit L which is disposed on the outside of an article storage box 5 and successively circulates a coolant among a compressor 200, a condenser 300, an expander 510, and an evaporator 500; a heating chamber 20 which constitutes a heating path connected to the article storage box through a warm air inlet port 51 and a warm air outlet port 53 and has the condenser of the coolant circuit disposed in the heating path; a cooling chamber 30 which constitutes a cooling path connected to the article storage box through a cold air inlet port 52 and a cold air outlet port 54 and has the evaporator of the coolant circuit disposed in the cooling path; and shutter means 61, 62, 63, and 64 which alternatively connect the heating chamber and the cooling chamber to the article storage box by opening/closing the warm air inlet port 51, the warm air outlet port 53, the cold air inlet port 52, and the cold air outlet port 54. An internal atmosphere is circulated between the heating chamber or the cooling chamber selected by the shutter means and the article storage box. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
