PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photosensitive member which is excellent in deposition, wear and scratch resistances and very good in electrophotographic characteristics such as sensitivity and residual potential, and exhibits stable performances even in repeated use, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive support, wherein the photosensitive layer comprises a polymerizate of a hole-transporting compound having two or more chain polymerization function groups in its molecule represented by formula (1) wherein A denotes a hole-transporting group, and P<SP>1</SP>and P<SP>2</SP>independently denote a chain polymerization function group of formula (9) or (10).
