PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of image quality caused by expansion of a pressure roller without complicating the constitution of a fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing part 4 of a color printer 1 for fixing a toner image formed on paper on the paper includes a heating roller 41, a fixing roller 42, a fixing belt 43, the pressure roller 44, a pressure roller temperature measuring means 451 and a pressure roller rotational speed adjusting means 452. The heating roller 41 has a first heat source 441 inside. The fixing roller 42 is arranged near the heating roller 41. The fixing belt 43 is laid over the heating roller 41 and the fixing roller 42. The pressure roller 44 is opposed to the fixing roller 42, is arranged to interpose the fixing belt 43 between the fixing roller 42 and the pressure roller 44, and rotates to make the fixing belt 43 circulate. The pressure roller temperature measuring means 451 is a means for measuring the temperature of the pressure roller 44. The pressure roller rotational speed adjusting means 452 is a means for adjusting the rotational speed of the pressure roller 44 according to a result of measurement by the pressure roller temperature measuring means 451.
