PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power reception device capable of selecting whether or not vibration generated during reception should be prohibited according to reception state.SOLUTION: A power reception device 102 having a vibrator 205 includes: power reception means 209 for receiving electric power from a wireless power transmission device 101 according to a reception method selected from a plurality of reception methods including a reception method using electromagnetic induction and a reception method using magnetic resonance; determination means 204 for determining the reception method being used for power reception by the reception means; and prohibition means 213 for prohibiting vibration of the vibrator according to a result of determination from the discrimination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
