This flame-retardant epoxy resin composition is characterized by containing an epoxy resin (A), a curing agent (B), and a phosphorus-containing compound (C) represented by general formula (1); this prepreg uses the flame-retardant epoxy resin composition, and this laminate plate uses said prepreg; in formula (1), m represents an integer 2-10, R¹ and R² each independently represents an alkyl group or an aryl group, R³ a hydrocarbon group optionally containing an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a nitrogen atom, X an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, and Y represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or -NR4-, and therein, R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or an aryl group. |
