PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a heating roller from having a high temperature.SOLUTION: A fixing device 7 includes a heating roller 71, a heater 711, a temperature estimation circuit 730, a first switch 752, and a first cutoff circuit 736. The heating roller 71 heats a paper sheet P. The heater 711 heats the heating roller 71. The temperature estimation circuit 730 estimates the temperature of the heating roller 71. The first switch 752 turns on/off power supplied to the heater 711. The first cutoff circuit 736 turns off the first switch 752 on the basis of the temperature estimated by the temperature estimation circuit 730, to cut off the supply of the power to the heater 711.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
