PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic coagulating and incising device that is highly operable, prevents fingers from getting numbed during long operation and is simply structured. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic coagulating and incising device having a grip 5 incorporating a vibrator that generates ultrasonic waves, a vibration conveying member 8 that conveys ultrasonic waves generated from the vibrator, a fixed blade (probe) 10 provided at the tip of the vibration conveying member 8, a moving blade 11 that opens and closes in relation to the fixed blade 10, a moving handle 14 that is provided in a grip 5 and opens and closes the moving blade 11, the point of application of the force of the moving handle 14 is located near the hand side than the center of rotation of the moving handle and the direction of action of the force is provided in the direction of approach to the grip 5 and the direction of separation from the grip 5.
