PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading system which can improve timely, economical and diagnostic efficiency. SOLUTION: An X-ray image reading means 113 digitizes personel informations, health condition, etc., of a person consulting his doctor (informations on the person consulting his doctor) and simultaneously outputs the informations related to the person consulting his doctor when the X-ray image of the person consulting his doctor is outputted by displaying it on a screen. It becomes unnecessary thereby to perform works for comparing alternately the informations which are recorded on a paper (a carte, etc.), related to the person consulting his doctor with the displayed screen of the X-ray image which have been conventionally performed.
