<p>A method for link switching in communication system, which includes: during the link switching, upon having collected all of the link switching messages, the user equipment (UE) selecting the switching time, switching from the old link to a new link at this switching time, and sending the link information of the UE to the network side via the old link at the same time, according to the message reported by the UE, the network side switching the old link to the new link at the network side. The present invention also discloses a user equipment (UE), which includes a switching time determining module, a new/old link switching control module and a link information reporting module. In addition, the present invention discloses a radio network controller, which includes a link switching message sending module and a link information processing module. With the technical scheme of the invention, the connection delay of the link switching could be improved, while guaranteeing the link would not be dropped.</p> |
